R. Carlos Nakai Recording Session at B360 Productions
B360 Productions recently had the opportunity to host Grammy-nominated Native American flutist R. Carlos Nakai for a recording session at my home studio in Montrose, Colorado.
Watch the Performance
During the session, R. Carlos Nakai performed on two very different Native American flutes. Watch and listen to this short performance from the studio.

Recording at B360 Productions
I was out of town when the session took place, but I was happy to give the green light and make the studio available. Cory Baughman handled the recording and engineering for B360 Productions, while Victor Henderson of Axiom West directed the session.
Even though I wasn’t able to be there in person, it was great to see the studio being used for a project like this and to know that Cory and Victor were able to bring the session together.
Symphony Chaco – A Journey of the Spirit
The recording is part of a larger collaboration between B360 Productions and Axiom West for Symphony Chaco – A Journey of the Spirit.
B360 Productions is assisting Axiom West with audio recording and post-production for the project, which also includes an upcoming performance in St. Louis this October.
A Glimpse into the Session
The short video above offers a glimpse into the recording session and the audio production work B360 Productions is contributing to the larger project.
If you get a chance, take a few minutes to listen to R. Carlos Nakai’s performance and hear some of what was captured in the studio.
